Inculcate good values
Rearing up the kids is very easy issue unless you learn to carry out the task with joy. Remember, you are inculcating good values in your kid’s mind and so be careful in the way you treat them well! Whenever you get into the task of teaching something new to your kids, always make it a point to analyze the good and bad aspects of the same and explain it to them just in the way by which they would understand it well.
Whatever, you teach them, good or bad in this tender age, gets into their minds very easily and stays for life long! So, apart from teaching good things for them, you too act in a way by which they would learn up good activities from you. Actions speak louder than words especially in the case of kids!
Beware While Teaching Words For Your Kids!
The parents should be very careful while teaching their kids to speak. There is a common practice among parents, who soon after the child starts speaking the initial words like mother, father and other close relations, they tend to have fun with the kid by teaching him or her to tell unwanted words and thereby have rolls and rolls of laughter.
This might seem to be funny in the beginning, but as days go on, the kid would not understand the true meaning of such filthy words, and by matter of practice, it happens to say those words to unexpected people or in any public place that would become a black mark for you. So, be very cautious in teaching new words for your kids as they would get into the same practice!
Teach Kindness To Your Kids!
The role of mother and father are very important for molding a child’s behavior. Naturally, children are tempted to learn up the wrong things easily and so, the parents should be very cautious while behaving in front of them. Fighting in front of the kids, using manner less words while they are around you or even little disrespectful deeds that you commit towards your elders could have a strong impact in their mind and remember!
When they grow up, it would automatically turn up towards you! Hence, it is very vital to teach good things to your kids when they are at the tender age instead of opening up the cruelty of the world at such an age. Only then, the kids would turn up to be good humans in the future.
Crying Baby
A baby’s only way to let you know that he wants or needs something done for him is by crying. He may be hungry, cold or too warm; he may be wet or just plain bored. You will soon learn to recognize the cry of hunger from other kinds of cries. His napkin may need changing, a pin may be poking him or the clothes may be uncomfortable and tight. If he has been fed a little while ago, he may need burping. An air bubble may be bothering him. Many babies fuss and whimper when they are tired and go off to sleep when held in the lap or put in the cot.
If the weather is hot, he might be thirsty and will quieten down if you give him some water, but if nothing seems to soothe him, give him a feed. He may just be hungry, even though he may have had a feed a short while ago. A hungry baby will suck vigorously from breast or bottle and go off to sleep, or start playing after the feed. If he cries incessantly and nothing seems to soothe him, he may be having pain in his stomach or ear and you should consult your doctor.
Don’t be afraid of spoiling your baby: Some mothers let the baby go on crying and do not pick him up for fear that he may get spoilt. All babies need attention and need to be comforted when they are uncomfortable. They stop crying when picked up or talked to. This is not spooling but just giving the baby the attention he needs.
